O presente Relatório de Estágio centra-se no fenómeno do Envelhecimento, sendo este considerado um dos problemas mais cruciais com que a Sociedade se tem debatido. É por todos sabido que, com o aumento da esperança média de vida, bem como com a melhoria de condições de vida, não só ao nível da saúde como também ao nível económico, social e tecnológico, tem-se assistido a um aumento da população idosa.Recognising the importance of contact with the world of work and of consolidating and practising the lessons learned so far, and to obtain a Master's Degree in Sociology, the Curricular Internship prevailed, to the detriment of a Dissertation or an Intervention Project. This internship report focuses on the phenomenon of ageing, which is one of the most crucial problems facing society. We all know that with the increase in average life expectancy and the improvement in living conditions, not only in terms of health but also economically, socially and technologically, there has been an increase in the elderly population.The main aim of the internship, which took place in the Department of Education, Social Action, Health and Sport from 19 November 2021 to 4 March 2022, was to showcase the qualitative study carried out as part of the “Projeto 10 Mil Vidas –Teleassistência e Saúde”, in addition to the other activities carried out at Cuba City Council. In this context, four interviews were conducted with beneficiaries of this project, aged between 65 and 83. From the interviews, it was concluded that, being satisfied with the project, the four interviewees say they feel more supported and secure.
