Drawingon the Psychology of Working Theory and Conservation of ResourcesTheory, this study examined whether Career Calling, as a personalresource, moderates the relationship between Decent Work andBurnout among Portuguese workers. A cross-sectional online surveywas conducted with 173 participants, and data were analyzed using thePROCESS macro. Results indicated a significant negative relationshipbetween Decent Work and Burnout, with Career Calling moderating thisassociation: its protective effect was stronger when decent workconditions were adequate.
