O principal objetivo foi compreender o funcionamento e as vantagens destas ferramentas, e como podem ser integradas para facilitar a criação de visuais e narrativas acessíveis, apelativos e informativos, que auxiliem eficazmente as tomadas de decisões estratégicas. O apuramento da investigação culmina no desenvolvimento da definição de Visual Storytelling, das suas potencialidades, e da sua relação com sistemas de Inteligência Artificial. Além da introdução à Análise de Sentimento, na parte prática deste estudo encontram-se ainda as atividades de criação do website My Ria Formosa, a participação no evento Share Algarve 2023, a análise aos inquéritos de satisfação realizados sobre o mesmo, à luz das noções apreendidas.This study was developed during an internship carried out by the student at the company Freshmint, under the supervision of its CEO, Dr. º Jorge Cabaço, and the academic guidance of Prof. Dr. ª Célia Ramos from the University of Algarve, and explores concepts and applications of Data Storytelling and Artificial Intelligence in the context of data analysis and communication. The main objective was to understand the functioning and advantages of these tools, and how they can be integrated to facilitate the creation of accessible, appealing, and informative visuals and narratives that effectively aid strategic decision-making. The findings of the research culminate in the development of the definition of Visual Storytelling, its potential, and its relationship with Artificial Intelligence systems.
