Monteiro, RuteTrindade, Elza Cristina Gonçalves Norberto2023-01-272023-01-272022-07-20http://hdl.handle.net/10400.1/18958O presente relatório de investigação intitulado “Contributos das crianças do Jardim de Infância para um presente/futuro mais sustentável”, foi desenvolvido durante o período da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada (PES), no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar, na Escola Superior de Educação e Comunicação da Universidade do Algarve, entre outubro de 2021 e janeiro 2022. Todo o processo investigativo, decorreu numa sala do Jardim de Infância de uma Instituição Pública do distrito de Faro e teve como participantes 24 crianças com faixa etária compreendida entre os 3 e os 5 anos, encarregados de educação/pais e adultos da comunidade educativa. Quanto à metodologia utilizada destaca-se a metodologia de cariz qualitativo, com recurso pontual à análise quantitativa dos dados. Para a recolha dos dados foram utilizados vários instrumentos tais como: a observação direta, as notas de campo, o inquérito por entrevista, o livro de opiniões e as entrevistas não formais aos pais e encarregados de educação. O estudo divide-se em várias fases: a primeira é a recolha das ideias prévias das crianças, e a segunda parte é toda a intervenção educativa. Já na terceira, após a intervenção educativa, são recolhidos novamente dados e por último na quarta e quinta fase corresponde à análise de todos os dados recolhidos e à discussão dos resultados. Através das ideias prévias obtidas inicialmente, chegou-se à conclusão que cerca de metade das crianças desconheciam em que ecopontos eram colocados os resíduos, assim como as etapas da reciclagem. Em relação aos hábitos de consumo das crianças estas revelam ter grandes hábitos de consumo não sendo conscientes das possíveis causas ambientais. Já em relação à reutilização dos materiais no Jardim de Infância, as crianças demonstraram que podem ser reutilizados muitos dos materiais. Após a intervenção educativa [alguns pais/encarregados de educação são influenciados pelos seus filhos, contribuindo assim para um presente/futuro mais sustentável].The present research report entitled "Contributions of Kindergarten children to a more sustainable present/future", was developed during the Supervised Teaching Prac-tice (PES) period, within the scope of the master’s degree in Pre-School Education, at Escola Superior of Education and Communication at the University of Algarve, between October 2021 and January 2022. The entire investigative process took place in a Kindergarten room of a Public Institution in the district of Faro and had 24 children aged between 3 and 5 years old, guardians/parents and adults from the educational community as participants. As for the methodology used, the qualitative methodology stands out, with occasional use of quan-titative data analysis. Various instruments were used for data collection, such as: direct observation, field notes, the interview survey, the opinion book and non-formal inter-views with parents and guardians. The study is divided into several phases: the first is the collection of the chil-dren's previous ideas, and the second part is the entire educational intervention. In the third, after the educational intervention, data are collected again and finally, in the fourth and fifth phases, it corresponds to the analysis of all the data collected and the discussion of the results. Through the previous ideas obtained initially, it was concluded that about half of the children did not know in which recycling bins the waste was placed, as well as the stages of recycling. In relation to the consumption habits of children, they reveal to be consumerists, not being aware of possible environmental causes. Regarding the reuse of materials in kindergarten, the children demonstrated that many of the materials can be reused.
