O presente estudo foi desenvolvido durante estĂĄgio realizado pela aluna na empresa Freshmint com supervisĂŁo do seu CEO, DrÂș Jorge Cabaço, sob a orientação acadĂ©mica da Prof.ÂȘ Dr.ÂȘ CĂ©lia Ramos da Universidade do Algarve, e explora conceitos e aplicaçÔes de Data Storytelling e InteligĂȘncia Artificial no Ăąmbito da anĂĄlise e comunicação de dados. O principal objetivo foi compreender o funcionamento e as vantagens destas ferramentas, e como podem ser integradas para facilitar a criação de visuais e narrativas acessĂveis, apelativos e informativos, que auxiliem eficazmente as tomadas de decisĂ”es estratĂ©gicas.
O apuramento da investigação culmina no desenvolvimento da definição de Visual Storytelling, das suas potencialidades, e da sua relação com sistemas de InteligĂȘncia Artificial. AlĂ©m da introdução Ă AnĂĄlise de Sentimento, na parte prĂĄtica deste estudo encontram-se ainda as atividades de criação do website My Ria Formosa, a participação no evento Share Algarve 2023, a anĂĄlise aos inquĂ©ritos de satisfação realizados sobre o mesmo, Ă luz das noçÔes apreendidas.
This study was developed during an internship carried out by the student at the company Freshmint, under the supervision of its CEO, Dr. Âș Jorge Cabaço, and the academic guidance of Prof. Dr. ÂȘ CĂ©lia Ramos from the University of Algarve, and explores concepts and applications of Data Storytelling and Artificial Intelligence in the context of data analysis and communication. The main objective was to understand the functioning and advantages of these tools, and how they can be integrated to facilitate the creation of accessible, appealing, and informative visuals and narratives that effectively aid strategic decision-making. The findings of the research culminate in the development of the definition of Visual Storytelling, its potential, and its relationship with Artificial Intelligence systems. In addition to introducing Sentiment Analysis, the practical part of this study includes activities such as the creation of the My Ria Formosa website, participation in the Share Algarve 2023 event, and the analysis of satisfaction surveys conducted for the event, all through the lens of the knowledge acquired.
