Abstract(s)

As a recent field of studies, literature and tourism still seeks to establish the limits of their corpus, to create, or to adapt methodologies, and find a set of concepts/definitions, from which all researchers can operate. Working Definitions in Literature and Tourism – A Research Guide ddresses this need. A set of over sixty inputs were produced by a wide range of specialists,each defining the concept in their own way. Considering that future readers will have a variety of backgrounds, the authors were invited to write their entries as a starting point for further research on the topic or topics to which they refer, and so suggestions for further readings are also included. This book is therefore a meeting place for researchers from around the world, who have generously agreed to share with the scientific community contributions from areas in which they are experts, as well as a starting point for new and additional research.
