This meeting builds on the last CIMP meeting held in 2007 in Lisbon and the suggestion of organizing a
Second Joint Meeting of Spore/Pollen and Acritarch Subcommissions in Portugal was warmly accepted
by us. For this year reunion theme we chose the Euramerica - Gondwana collision and the utility of
palynomorphs in its reconstruction.
