| dc.description.abstract | Stroke presenting with predominant laryngeal dysfunction manifestations is often part of a clinical constellation of neurological signs associated with acute medullar lesion [1]. Isolated laryngeal symptoms as a stroke presentation are extremely rare due to the intimal anatomical relation of swallowing-related structures with the ascending/descending tracts in the lateral medulla [2].
