Nos vários textos que este Dossier reúne, o ponto central são os resultados que as tecnologias dos media digitais têm proporcionado às diferentes culturas. Nesse contexto, os autores analisam a criação da imagem, o impacto dos algoritmos nas notícias e na audiência, o audiovisual associado à RV (Realidade Virtual) e o espetador, a produção industrial e a globalização multicultural.
Acreditamos que as questões que permeiam os textos e os caminhos que os autores seguiram em seus estudos são fontes para novas discussões e sugerem uma ampla gama de desdobramentos para futuras pesquisas. Além disso, são ensaios que nos fazem pensar sobre quem somos e como vivemos em um mundo cada vez mais próximo das mídias digitais.
In the various texts that this Dossier brings together, the central point is the results that digital media technologies have provided for different cultures. In this context, the authors analyze the creation of the image, the impact of algorithms on the news and the audience, the audiovisual associated with VR (Virtual Reality) and the viewer, the industrial production and the multicultural globalization. We believe that the questions that permeate the texts and the paths that the authors followed in their studies are sources for new discussions and suggest a wide range of developments for future research. Furthermore, these are essays that make us think about who we are and how we live in a world that is increasingly closer to digital media.
