Abstract(s)
More than four decades after it started in 1977 in Paimpont, France,
organized by Professor Dr. Roland Billard (in memoriam), the 11th
edition of the International Symposium on Reproductive Physiology of
Fish (ISRPF) took place June 3–8, 2018 for the first time in Latin
America. The venue chosen was the wonderful Tropical Hotel located in
the unique and beautiful city of Manaus facing the Negro river just
before it meets the Solimões – in a majestic phenomenon also known as
the meeting of the waters - to create the longest and largest river of our
planet, the Amazon river.
