dc.description.abstract	The aim of this thesis was to increase the knowledge on the digestive physiology of Senegalese sole during the first month of life, through the study of digestive system structure and morphology, the digestive enzymatic capacity, together with the biochemical composition. It was expected that this knowledge wouid contribute to elucidate Senegalese sole digestive capabilities and requirements during the different stages of early development.	pt_PT
dc.description.abstract	O objectivo desta tese de doutoramento foi estudar a fisiologia digestiva do linguado do Senegal {Solea senegalensis) durante o primeiro mês de vida, através do estudo da morfologia e da estrutura do sistema digestivo, da quantificação da actividade dos enzimas digestivos, e ainda através da análise da composição bioquímica. Pretendeu-se desta forma avaliar as capacidades digestivas e os requisitos nutricionais durante as fases iniciais de desenvolvimento desta espécie.	pt_PT
