dc.description.abstractThe increasing use of radiodiagnostic modalities has led to an increased focus and awareness on patient safety and consequent search for optimization of radiographer’s practices 1. The Basic Safety and Standards Directive (BSSD), 2013/59/Euratom lays down standards for protection against the dangers arising from exposure to ionizing radiation2.
