A disease is the sum of the abnormal phenomena displayed by a group of living organisms in association with a specified common characteristic or set of characteristics by which they differ from the norm of their species in such away as to place them at a biological disadvantage. Disease is rarely a simple assossiation between a pathogen and a host shrimp. Usually other circunstances must be presente for active disease to develop in a population. The nutrition is a primary treatment for disease control, by the fact that na organism with nutritional deficiences in more available to the pathogen, because importante factors that are needed for the defense system are lacking. Now a days, nutritional studies regarding the improvement of the diets quality, addition of nutritional supplements and imune enhancers appear to have considerable importance in the control and treatment of disease outbreack.
