Abstract(s)
O principal objectivo deste estudo é descrever e analisar a comunicação estabelecida pelos professores de Matemática de 2º ciclo do Ensino Básico, no contexto das aulas de apoio desta disciplina, focando em especial; i) a natureza do discurso matemático que é valorizado: ii) os factores que influenciam o estabelecimento da comunicação nas aulas de apoio; iii) o papel das acções dos professores no estabelecimento e condução do discurso nas aulas de apoio; iiii) o papel das metodologias de trabalho e das actividades e materiais utilizados nas aulas de apoio para promover a comunicação na aprendizagem da Matemática.
The main purpose of this study is to describe and analyse the commumcation established by Mathematics teachers of the 2º cycle of Basic Education, in the context of remedial lessons in this subject with special focus on; i) the value of Mathematical discourse; ii) the factors which influence the establishment of communication in remedial classes: iii) the function of teachers actions in establishing and maintaining the discourse in the remediai classes; iiii) lhe role of the work methods and of he activities and materials used in the remedial classes to promote the commumcation and the understanding of Mathematics.
