Obstacles towards Laboratory Accreditation in Africa and real needs were analyzed. This was through collecting information about the current situation of laboratory accreditation in African countries from different projects done and ongoing and on interviews with the main actors involved in laboratory accreditation, industry and testing laboratories in Africa, focusing on Tanzania.
