| dc.description.abstract | A presente dissertação de mestrado analisa como a Capoeira – patrimônio cultural imaterial brasileiro – está presente na região do Algarve, sul de Portugal. A partir de um estudo histórico das suas origens, observou-se o gradual processo de globalização o qual levou a arte-luta em direção ao continente europeu. Deste modo, interessa a esta pesquisa compreender como a referida comunidade portuguesa interage com a Capoeira em termos socioculturais, com o intuito de desvelar o processo de busca de reconhecimento, de valorização e de legitimidade da arte ancestral junto ao estado português. Para tanto, buscou-se fundamentação teórica de autores pioneiros como Luiz Renato Vieira (2012) e Ricardo César Carvalho Nascimento (2015), além da análise e compilação de uma série de entrevistas feitas com praticantes da Capoeira em território lusitano. Na região do Algarve, percebeu-se uma forte ligação histórica e cultural com a Capoeira, em decorrência dos capoeiristas imigrantes que se fixaram na região no início dos anos 90. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This master's dissertation analyzes how Capoeira - Brazilian intangible cultural heritage - is present in the Algarve region, southern Portugal. From a historical study of its origins, the gradual process of globalization was observed, which led the art fight towards the Lusophone lands. Thus, this research is interested in understanding how the Portuguese community interacts with Capoeira in sociocultural terms, in order to unveil the process of seeking recognition, appreciation and legitimacy of ancestral art with the Portuguese state. To do so, we sought theoretical foundation from pioneering authors such as Luiz Renato Vieira (2012) and Ricardo César Carvalho Nascimento (2015), in addition to the analysis and compilation of a series of interviews with Capoeira practitioners in Portuguese territory. In the Algarve region, there was a strong historical and cultural connection with Capoeira due to the immigrant capoeiristas who settled in the region in the early 90's. | pt_PT |
