Abstract(s)
O presente relatório de investigação intitulado A influência de amizade no
desenvolvimento da criança em idade pré-escolar foi desenvolvido no âmbito da unidade
curricular de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar da
Escola Superior de Educação e Comunicação, da Universidade do Algarve, no ano letivo
2019/2020. O processo investigativo sucedeu numa sala de Jardim de Infância de uma
Instituição Particular de Solidariedade Social, no distrito de Faro. O estudo decorreu com
um grupo de vinte e três crianças e o objetivo principal foi investigar se as relações de
amizade influenciam no desenvolvimento da criança em idade pré-escolar,
compreendendo o conceito e a importância para a mesma relativamente à temática
estudada.
As relações de amizade envolvem um conjunto de características, tais como o
afeto, o carinho, a segurança, a confiança e o respeito pelo outro e podem contribuir para
o bem-estar do ser humano. Neste sentido, considerou-se pertinente compreender se a
amizade contribuiu para o desenvolvimento da criança. Deste modo, desenvolveu-se um
estudo de natureza qualitativa, de carácter descritivo, com recurso de recolha de dados
como: observação participativa, conversas informais e entrevistas semiestruturadas às
crianças, à educadora cooperante e encarregados de educação.
O grupo de crianças foi capaz de realizar todas as tarefas propostas na intervenção
educativa, revelando que o conceito de amizade pode ser, essencialmente, vivenciar
sentimentos por outro indivíduo e contribuir para o seu bem-estar e felicidade. Observouse,
desta forma, a existência de relações de amizades fortes em alguns grupos na sala.
Contudo, todas as crianças conseguiram concretizar as atividades para a exploração da
amizade, revelando que o que importa, principalmente, é o respeito que sentem pelos
outros.
This research report entitled The influence of friendship on the development of pre-school children was developed as part of the curricular unit of Supervised Teaching Practice of the Master's degree in Pre-School Education of the Higher School of Education and Communication, University of Algarve, in the school year 2019/2020. The research process took place in a kindergarten classroom of a Private Institution of Social Solidarity, in the district of Faro. The study was conducted with a group of twenty-three children and the main objective was to investigate whether friendship relationships influence the development of preschool children, understanding the concept and importance for it in relation to the theme studied. Friendship relationships involve a set of characteristics, such as affection, caring, security, trust and respect for the other and can contribute to the well-being of the human being. In this sense, it was considered pertinent to understand whether friendship contributes to the child's development. Thus, a qualitative, descriptive study was developed, using data collection, such as: participatory observation, informal conversations and semi-structured interviews with children, class teacher and child guardians. The group of children was able to perform all the tasks proposed in the educational intervention, revealing that the concept of friendship essentially can be to experience feelings for another individual and contribute to their well-being and happiness. Thus, it was observed the existence of strong friendship relationships and some groups in the classroom. However, all children were able to carry out the activities for the exploration of friendship, revealing that what matters, mainly, is the respect they feel for others.
