Abstract(s)
The University Hospital Center of Algarve takes on healthcare throughout all of the Algarve region, thus being a reference unit in the National Health Service. Sustainability and quality of care and health outcomes are increasingly required, leading towards the need for a restructure with informed decision-making by managers. Sleep disorders affect public health in a significant way, leading to changes in daily life, car accidents, psychiatric disorders, cognitive deficits, cardiovascular pathologies, among others, altering notably the quality of life of those affected by them and society in general. This diagnosis was based on data, of Hospital Production of the CHUA Sleep Center, between 2017-2019. The Partial Triadic Analysis allowed for an overview of the CHUA Sleep Center’s production, identifying both the stabilities as well as the most relevant discrepancies, revealing determinant descriptors of the Sleep Center performance through the calculation of its contributions, granting some conclusions which can be of suport to the decision making.
