Abstract(s)
Starting from the discourse of Lucio Oliveira, through his comics and his graphic and humorous work in Edibar, this text aims to analyze social stereotypes from the theoretical assumptions of Discourse Analysis. Our intention is to understand how humor is articulated around some stereotypes of the social roles of men and women. Knowing that stereotypes are social labels, concepts, ideas or image models attributed to certain people, we intend to show how references to certain standards can provoke their reinforcement or deconstruction as social criticism.
