This paper briefly describes the Digital MediaArt project How I Learned to Stop Worry[in]g and Love the Big Brother, an interactive installation that allows the public to police a domestic space through a video surveillance system and, simultaneously and remotely, control a set of smart home devices. This artistic artifact aims to take a critical and reflexive look at the gradual loss of privacy in one of its last strongholds: the place we call home.

O presente artigo descreve sucintamente o projeto de Média-Arte Digital How I Learned to Stop Worry[in]g and Love the Big Brother, uma instalação interativa que permite ao público policiar um espaço doméstico através de um sistema de videovigilância e controlar,simultaneamente e de forma remota, um conjunto de equipamentos de domótica. Este artefacto artístico objetiva lançar um olhar crítico e reflexivo sobre a gradual perda de privacidade num dos seus últimos redutos: o lugar a que chamamos casa.
