Mapping organizational culture, work motivation and innovative behaviour, before and during the crisis: a bibliometric analysis

dc.description.abstractAbstract COVID-19 and the Russia–Ukraine war have profoundly transformed the organisational culture of many organisations, shifting from a focus on security to innovation, which poses a major challenge for managers in all aspects of service delivery, including the healthcare sector. This article addresses gaps in the literature by exploring and mapping the evolution of organisational culture, work motivation, and innovative behaviour before and during the crisis (2012–2018), and summarises the relationship between these variables in 25 selected articles. A literature review on Web of Science with bibliometric analysis and RStudio was conducted. The dynamics, associations, dimensions, and networks that emerge as a way of adapting to new contexts to foster innovation are examined. Results indicate that keywords have evolved over time, and a positive and significant relationship between organisational culture, motivation, and innovation was also identified. The findings suggest that organisations should focus on organisational culture to leverage it as a tool for motivating and fostering innovative behaviour in the workplace.eng
