O turismo sustentável e o ecoturismo têm sido dos temas mais abordados recentemente pelo Turismo de Portugal. Além disso, a diminuição do impacto ambiental causado pelo turismo tem sido um dos pontos mais debatidos. A Proactivetur é uma empresa que já conta com alguns anos de experiência no que diz respeito a ecoturismo e a turismo sustentável e responsável.
O estágio realizado na entidade permitiu perceber como é que esta empresa atua a nível do turismo sustentável, ainda que os objetivos relacionados com o estágio sejam de cariz mais técnico-prático, a sustentabilidade está sempre presente. Assim, um dos objetivos a atingir foi a atualização do formato dos mapas que a empresa utiliza, de modo a facilitar a leitura para os clientes. Foi desenvolvida uma ficha técnica com todas as informações referentes a cada percurso por forma a que o acesso seja facilitado.
Um outro objetivo foi a criação de um sistema de classificação de alojamentos parceiros, de modo a perceber como os alojamentos se preparam para receber os clientes e como podem mudar alguns serviços para os ajudarem.
Também como objetivo de estágio salienta-se a criação de fichas técnico-informativas para cada um dos percursos pedestres guiados, para que toda a informação sobre estes percursos esteja no mesmo local e o conteúdo informativo transmitido pelos guias seja igual.
Como quarto objetivo, foi aplicado um questionário de modo a perceber qual a aplicação (App) de caminhada mais utilizada, em que fase a utilizam (planeamento, seguir caminhos, informar sobre problemas) e onde é que os caminhantes procuram a informação, resultando no wikiloc como a aplicação mais utilizada nas três fases da caminhada, assim como os websites das próprias rotas.
Sustainable tourism and ecotourism have been one of the most recently addressed topics by Turismo de Portugal and the reduction of the environmental impact by tourism has been one of the main subjects that has been discussed. Proactivetur is a company that already has a few years of experience in ecotourism, sustainable and responsible tourism. The internship held in the entity allowed the trainee to realize how this company operates in sustainable tourism, although the subjects and tasks of the internship were more technical-practical, sustainability is always present. Thus, one of the goals of the internship was to update the layout of the maps that the company uses, in order to turn the reading and interpretation of the maps easier for the customers. A folder sheet has also been developed with all the information related with each route, so that access is eased. Other objective was to create a partner accommodation classification system to understand how accommodations are preparing to receive customers and how they can change some services to help the customers better. Another objective was the writing of a technical-information sheets for each of the guided routes, so all the information about these routes is in the same place and the contents transmitted by the guides is similar. The last goal was related with the development of a questionnaire, to understand which hiking application (App) is most used, in which phase they use it (planning, following paths, informing of problems) and where hikers seek the information. Resulting in wikiloc as the most widely used application in the three phases of the hike, as well as the websites of the routed.
