Abstract(s)
A coerção sexual é um tipo de violência sexual que se caracteriza por
comportamentos direcionados a compelir um indivíduo a iniciar atividade sexual contra
a sua vontade. A personalidade parece influenciar a expressão de comportamentos
violentos, em particular, os traços sub-clínicos de personalidade- Dark Tetrad têm vindo
a ser apontados como fatores predisponentes. A presente investigação pretende estudar
os comportamentos coercivos entre parceiros íntimos e a sua relação com a Dark Tetrad,
utilizando como ótica explicativa, o modelo de interdependência entre elementos do
casal. Foi criado um questionário sociodemográfico, um referente à história do casal e um
com possíveis cenários de coerção sexual. Utilizou-se ainda o Questionário dos Traços
Antagónicos de personalidade- Dark Tetrad (Paulhus, Curtis & Jones, 2018), a Escala
Portuguesa de Afeto Positivo e Negativo (PANAS; Watson, Clark, & Tellegen, 1988,
versão portuguesa de Galinha & Ribeiro, 2005) e o Questionário de Agressividade de
Buss-Perry (AQ) (1992). Foram contactadas 40 díades com idades compreendidas entre
os 20 e os 62 anos de idade. Os resultados revelaram que a agressividade, a psicopatia e
os afetos negativos contribuem para a perpetração do género masculino. Por outro lado,
a psicopatia da mulher contribui para a vitimização do homem, sugerindo que o mesmo
traço influencia não só o comportamento individual, mas também o comportamento do
outro. O sadismo da mulher revelou contribuir para a vitimização da mesma.
Sexual coercion is a type of sexual violence that is characterized by behaviors aimed at compelling an individual to initiate sexual activity against their will. Personality seems to influence the expression of violent behaviors, in particular, sub-clinical personality traits - Dark Tetrad have been identified as predisposing factors. The present investigation intends to study the coercive behaviors between intimate partners and their relationship with the Dark Tetrad, using as an explanatory perspective, the model of interdependence between elements of the couple. A sociodemographic questionnaire was created, one referring to the couple's history and one with possible sexual coercion scenarios. We also used the Questionnaire of Antagonistic Personality Traits - Dark Tetrad (Paulhus, Curtis & Jones, 2018), the Portuguese Positive and Negative Affect Scale (PANAS; Watson, Clark, & Tellegen, 1988, Portuguese version by Galinha & Ribeiro , 2005) and the Buss Perry Aggression Questionnaire (AQ) (1992). Forty dyads aged between 20 and 62 were contacted. The results revealed that aggression, psychopathy and negative affect contribute to the perpetuation of the male gender. On the other hand, female psychopathy contributes to male victimization, suggesting that the same trait influences not only individual behavior but also the behavior of the other. The woman's sadism revealed to contribute to her victimization.
