| dc.description.abstract | Esta tese tem como objetivo investigar e discutir a representação da condição humana na poesia de Daniel Faria, à luz dos conceitos de pó da terra e imago dei. Para esse fim, procurar-se-á analisar e confrontar esta obra poética com textos que integram a tradição judaico-cristã – Bíblia Sagrada – devido ao intertexto bíblico constituir a opção privilegiada no contexto da poética fariana. Os conceitos de teopoética, poesia mística e as relações da literatura com Bíblia serão também objeto de estudo. Sem esquecer a influência da cultura clássica greco-romana, em alguns poemas, descortinaremos influências e relações intertextuais em poetas como, Fernando Pessoa, Herberto Hélder, Ruy Belo, Eugénio de Andrade, Luiza Neto Jorge, Sophia de Melo Brayner Andresen e textos de poetas lusófonos como Carlos Drummond de Andrade, além de poetas da poesia mística como Sº João da Cruz e Santa Teresa do Menino Jesus e do teólogo e filósofo santo Agostinho, em função da intertextualidade explicita destes autores da espiritualidade cristã no âmbito da obra poética em estudo. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The main purpose of this doctoral dissertation is to research and discuss the representation of the human condition in the poetry of Daniel Faria, while recurring to concepts such as dust of the earth and imago dei. In order to do so, we shall analyse and compare that poetry against texts that belong to the Judaeo-Christian tradition – the Holy Bible –, given the fact that the biblical intertext appears as a privileged option within the Farian poetics. Other concepts, such as theopoetics, mystical poetry, as well as the relations between the Bible and literature, will also be discussed. Notwithstanding the influence of classical Greco-Roman tradition in some of his poems, we shall identify the influence of, and intertextual relations with, poets such as Fernando Pessoa, Herberto Hélder, Ruy Belo, Eugénio de Andrade, Luiza Neto Jorge, Sophia de Mello Breyner Andreesen, as well as with poets from the Portuguese-speaking world, such as Carlos Drummond de Andrade; apart from these, others will be referred to: St. John of the Cross and St. Teresa of the Child Jesus, both mystical poets, as well as the theologian and philosopher St. Augustine, since there is an explicit intertextuality between these authors of Christian spirituality and the poetry of Daniel Faria. | pt_PT |
