Abstract(s)
O presente relatório de investigação intitulado de “Ela não quer ser minha amiga” - O conceito de amizade nas crianças em idade pré-escolar, foi desenvolvido no âmbito da unidade curricular de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar da Escola Superior de Educação e Comunicação, da Universidade do Algarve, no ano letivo 2020/2021. O processo investigativo sucedeu numa sala de Jardim de Infância de uma instituição particular, no distrito de Faro.
Sendo que a amizade representa o afeto, o carinho, a segurança, a confiança e o respeito pelo outro e que esta é fundamental para o ser humano, uma vez que contribui para o seu bem-estar e desenvolvimento harmonioso da sua identidade, pretendeu-se, com a presente investigação analisar as relações de amizade em crianças em idade pré-escolar. Desta forma, objetivou-se investigar a compreensão do conceito de amizade. Foi realizado um estudo exploratório, descritivo e com design transversal, com uma amostra de 17 crianças (N = 17), com idades compreendidas entre os três e quatro anos (M = 3,18; DP =,393).
A metodologia utilizada no presente relatório é de investigação-ação, sendo uma metodologia de âmbito qualitativa e quantitativa, inserindo-se no paradigma interpretativo.
Realizaram-se questionários que foram aplicados às crianças, via online ou presenciais, como forma de dar resposta aos objetivos definidos para o estudo. Foi ainda efetuado um teste sociométrico, utilizadas notas de campo, a observação participante e fotografias, como procedimentos para recolha e análise dos dados.
A partir dos dados obtidos, através da sua análise, é possível concluir que os resultados demonstram um maior grau de respostas positivas no que diz respeito à existência de um amigo especial, e por outro lado, o grupo de crianças revela ainda alguma dificuldade na definição do conceito da amizade, sugerindo-se a necessidade de se continuar a trabalhar nesta área com as crianças.
This research report entitled "She does not want to be my friend" - The concept of friendship in preschool children was developed within the curricular unit of Supervised Teaching Practice of the Master's degree in Pre-School Education of the Higher School of Education and Communication, University of algarve, in the school year 2020/2021. The investigative process took place in a kindergarten room of a private institution in the faro district. Since friendship represents affection, affection, security, trust and respect for the other and that this is fundamental for the human being, since it contributes to their well-being and harmonious development of their identity, it was intended, with this research to analyze the relationships of friendship in preschool children. Thus, the aim of this study was to investigate the understanding of the concept of friendship. An exploratory, descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted, with a sample of 17 children (N = 17), aged between three and four years (M = 3.18; SD =.393). The methodology used in this report is action research, being a qualitative methodology, inserting itself in the interpretative paradigm. Questionnaires were performed that were applied to children, online or in person, as a way to respond to the objectives defined for the study. A sociometric test was also performed, field notes, participant observation, and photographs were used as procedures for data collection and analysis. From the data obtained, through their analysis, it is possible to conclude that the results demonstrate a higher degree of positive responses regarding the existence of a special friend, and on the other hand, the group of children also reveals some difficulty in defining the concept of friendship, suggesting the need to continue working in this area with children.
