Resumo(s)
These are datasets from a study of academic discourses on ecotourism. The study aims to identify linguistic patterns, recurring themes and underlying ideological assumptions by exploring discourses constructed by academics affiliated with Brazilian and Portuguese teaching and research institutions. A multi-method qualitative approach is employed, involving a corpus-assisted critical discourse analysis (CDA) of 81 English-language scientific articles and a deductive thematic analysis of 10 interviews with researchers.
