Este Trabalho de Projeto foca-se no arquivo da Artadentro, uma associação cultural sem fins lucrativos em Faro, Portugal, que promove a arte contemporânea, com o objetivo de construir conhecimento a partir deste arquivo. Apresenta uma exploração da relação entre arte e arquivo, destacando a importância da memória e da documentação das atividades artísticas. O foco coloca-se na região do Algarve com uma introdução ao panorama das artes plásticas sob a óptica dos espaços de exposição. É analisada a existência de arquivos online do que foi apresentado na região algarvia. A investigação utiliza princípios da arquivística e processos de criação artística para reconfigurar e interpretar o arquivo da Artadentro, com o objetivo de produzir um livro que documente os 21 anos de atividades da associação. O trabalho visa tornar o arquivo acessível e explorar novas formas de visualização e interpretação dos documentos. São abordados livros enquanto arquivos como ponto de partida deste projeto.
This Project Work focuses on the archive of Artadentro, a non-profit cultural association in Faro, Portugal, that promotes contemporary art, in an attempt to build knowledge from this archive. It presents an exploration of the relationship between art and archive, highlighting the importance of memory and documentation of artistic activities. The focus is on the Algarve region with an introduction to the panorama of visual arts from the perspective of exhibition spaces.The existence of online archives of what has been presented in the Algarve region is analyzed. The research uses archival principles and artistic creation processes to reconfigure and interpret the Artadentro archive, with the aim of producing a book that documents the 21 years of activities of the association. The work aims to make the archive accessible and to explore new ways of viewing and interpreting documents. Books as archives are a starting point for this project.
