Os constantes atos violentos dos filhos contra os seus pais ou outros semelhantes, constituem-se violência filio-parental (VFP). A VFP é um tipo de violência intrafamiliar que se manifesta através de agressões físicas, psicológicas e/ou económicas, que, nos últimos anos, tem despertado um maior interesse académico e profissional. O objetivo deste estudo foi perceber e descrever as evidências disponíveis na literatura sobre os preditores da VFP praticada por adolescentes, nomeadamente, conhecer a relação entre este tipo de violência e a vitimização ao longo do desenvolvimento dos jovens, perceber a relação entre o perfil de personalidade e a ocorrência de VFP, assim como a relação entre a psicopatologia e a ocorrência de VFP. Neste sentido, foi elaborada uma Revisão Sistemática da Literatura (RSL) de acordo com os critérios do PRISMA. A pesquisa foi realizada em 6 bases de dados, identificando-se, inicialmente, 862 artigos e incluindo-se para revisão do texto completo 46 artigos. Espanha foi o país com o maior número de estudos identificados e incluídos. Muitos dos estudos foram qualitativos, tendo sido também, maioritariamente, publicados nos últimos 16 anos e abrangendo amostras de grande dimensão. Os estudos incluídos revelaram uma clara associação entre vitimização ao longo do desenvolvimento, traços de personalidade, psicopatologia e a ocorrência de VFP na adolescência. Por fim, foram ainda discutidas limitações dos estudos incluídos, as limitações desta RSL e sugestões para investigações futuras.
The constant violent acts of children against their parents or others like them, constitute child to parente violence (CPV). CPV is a type of domestic violence that manifests itself through physical, psychological, and/or economic aggression, which in recent years has attracted greater academic and professional interest. The objective of this study was to understand and describe the evidence available in the literature on the predictors of CPV practiced by adolescents, namely, to understand the relationship between this type of violence and victimization throughout the development of young people, to understand the relationship between personality profile and the occurrence of CPV, as well as the relationship between psychopathology and the occurrence of CPV. To this end, a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted in accordance with PRISMA criteria. The search was carried out in six databases, initially identifying 862 articles and including 46 articles for full-text review. Spain was the country with the highest number of studies identified and included. Many of the studies were qualitative, having also been published mainly in the last 16 years and covering large samples. The included studies revealed a clear association between victimization throughout development, personality traits, psychopathology, and the occurrence of CPV in adolescence. Finally, the limitations of the included studies, the limitations of this SLR, and suggestions for future research were discussed.
