Abstract(s)
O presente relatório foi elaborado no âmbito do Mestrado em Turismo com especialidade
em Marketing Turístico pela Universidade do Algarve através da Escola Superior de
Gestão Hotelaria e Turismo. Tem como objetivo a descrição de todo o processo de
estágio, que decorreu de 22 de outubro de 2018 a 31 de maio de 2019, no departamento
de Marketing Regional do Algarve do grupo Minor Hotels.
O grupo Minor Hotels, é um grupo de unidades hoteleiras distribuídas por todo o mundo.
Considerado um dos maiores da área da hotelaria, presente em Portugal com as marcas
Tivoli Hotels & Resorts, Anantara, Avani e NH.
Com a finalidade de descrever a experiência como estagiária, através dos conhecimentos
adquiridos pessoais e profissionais, o presente relatório é composto pela caraterização do
grupo hoteleiro Minor Hotels, pelo enquadramento teórico com a temática Blended
Marketing, uma união entre o Marketing Digital e Offline, por fim, a descrição das
atividades desenvolvidas no decorrer do estágio bem como o balanço das mesmas através
de uma reflexão da experiência.
O estágio curricular permitiu a aplicação de conhecimentos adquiridos no primeiro ano
do Mestrado em Turismo, o entendimento da prática das funções do departamento de
marketing e a importância do papel da utilização de uma estratégia de Blended Marketing
num hotel.
This report was drafted under the master’s degree in Tourism, specialty in Tourism Marketing of the University of Algarve of the Hotel and Tourism School of Management. Aims at describing the entire internship process, from 22nd October 2018 and 21st May 2019, in the Regional Marketing Department of the Algarve of the Minor Hotels group. The Minor Hotels group is a group of hotel units scattered worldly. Considered one of the largest hotel groups, present in Portugal with brands such as Tivoli Hotels & Resorts, Antara, Avani and NH. In order to describe the experience as an intern, the knowledge acquired personal and professional, this report consists of the characterization of the hotel group Minor Hotels, the theoretical framework with the thematic Blended Marketing, a union between Digital and Offline Marketing and finally the description of the activities developed during the course of the internship and finally the balance of the same through a reflection of the experience. The experience of the curricular internship allowed the application of knowledge acquired in the first year of the Master’s degree in Tourism, understanding the practice of marketing department functions and the importance of the role of using a Blended Marketing strategy in a hotel.
