No presente relatório insere-se o estágio realizado no âmbito do Mestrado em Direção e Gestão Hoteleira, da Escola Superior de Gestão, Hotelaria e Turismo na Universidade do Algarve. Este foi realizado no hotel Wyndham Grand Algarve do grupo hoteleiro Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, teve o seu início a 7 de outubro de 2019 e terminou a 28 de agosto de 2020. Dispõe uma breve reflexão acerca da pandemia, retrata o processo de rebranding da unidade hoteleira e descreve a experiência profissional, os conhecimentos e competências adquiridos na realização de um estágio de cross training pelos vários departamentos do hotel, incluindo o departamento de Sales & Marketing, Financeiro, Recursos Humanos, Front Office, A&B, Compras e Housekeeping.
This report presents the internship carried out within the scope of the Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management and Administration, from the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism at the University of the Algarve. This internship took place at the Wyndham Grand Algarve hotel, from Wyndham Hotels & Resorts hotel group, started on October 7, 2019 and ended on August 28, 2020. This report provides a brief reflection on the pandemic, portrays the rebranding process of the hotel and describes the professional experience, knowledge and skills acquired during a cross training internship on the departments of the hotel, including the Sales & Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Front Office, Food & Beverage, Purchasing and Housekeeping.
