Num contexto como o atual, caracterizado por uma elevada competitividade e assente na produtividade, é crucial compreender como as exigências e os recursos laborais que afetam os indivíduos e as suas respostas a esses mesmos estímulos. A investigação sobre as exigências e os recursos, e a forte influência na relação entre o trabalho e o indivíduo, representam um papel crucial na compreensão dos fatores que são decisivos no bem-estar e no desempenho dos trabalhadores. É cada vez mais importante avaliar, em que medida as exigências e os recursos existentes nos ambientes laborais impactam a experiência e os resultados, pessoais e profissionais vivenciados. O objetivo deste estudo é o de analisar a relação entre exigências e recursos laborais e a interface (ou ponto de interação/comunicação) com o indivíduo, contribuindo desta forma, para um aumento de estratégias de gestão e orientação por parte das organizações, no sentido de permitir que os trabalhadores se tornem mais eficientes tanto no ambiente familiar como profissional, aumentando a satisfação e o desempenho dos mesmos. A amostra é composta por 275 sujeitos, dos quais 16.4 % do género feminino, 5.1% do género masculino, já 78.2% desta amostra preferiu não responder à questão do género, 55,3% dos participantes exercem funções no setor público. Os nossos resultados confirmam o contributo positivo dos recursos laborais, nomeadamente os Tecnológicos, sobre o desempenho individual. Por outro lado, e no que diz respeito às Exigências, foi a Sobrecarga no trabalho que teve maior impacto nos sujeitos. Este estudo oferece insights sobre como o ambiente de trabalho influencia o comportamento e o bem-estar dos indivíduos. Os resultados corroboram estudos recentes, confirmando a relação entre o modelo das Exigências e Recursos e o Empenhamento Organizacional, destacando a importância desse fator para os resultados organizacionais e individuais.

Research on demands and resources, and the strong influence on the relationship between work and the individual, play a crucial role in understanding the factors that are decisive in the wellbeing and performance of workers. It is increasingly important to assess the extent to which the demands and resources existing in work environments impact the experience and results, personal and professional. The objective of this study is to analyze the relationship between demands and work resources and the interface (or point of interaction/communication) with the individual, thus contributing to an increase in management and guidance strategies by organizations, in order to allow workers to become more efficient both in the family and professional environment. increasing their satisfaction and performance.
