Abstract(s)
A criação deste projeto, tenta ir ao encontro da necessidade de produzir conteúdos de sensibilização e informação pública, dando a conhecer o interior de um Quartel de Bombeiros e proporcionar ao visitante parte da sua história passada e presente, destacando algumas características e permitindo interação através da aplicação de conteúdos informativos ao longo do percurso escolhido e através da imersividade criada com apoio de realidade aumentada, de forma a cativar o utilizador e aprimorar a experiência. A produção desta proposta educacional, oferece aos visitantes a hipótese de conhecer a casa dos Bombeiros de Portimão, através de uma visita virtual imersiva em ambiente 360º, ao quartel-sede de um dos corpos de bombeiros mais valorizados da região do Algarve e que se aproxima do Centenário da sua existência. A visita virtual é reforçada através de conteúdos visuais de caracter informativo, ampliando assim o valor desta oferta e proporcionando ao visitante o acesso a parte da história passada e presente, aproveitando para destacar algumas características e criar interação entre o visitante e o espaço virtual, através da utilização de realidade aumentada cativando o utilizador e aprimorando a experiência virtual. O “Quartel Virtual – Uma visita aos Bombeiros de Portimão”, surge como uma versão complementar a quem visita o quartel e como alternativa para aqueles que, por alguma razão,
não têm possibilidade de visitar o espaço. Como Projeto de Mestrado existe ainda o objetivo de analisar e refletir sobre os resultados
alcançados, de forma a perceber que melhorias devem ser realizadas antes de uma futura disponibilização ao público.
The creation of this project attempts to meet the need to produce awareness-raising and public information content, showing the interior of a Fire Station and providing visitors with part of its history, past and present, highlighting some characteristics and allowing interaction through the application of informative content along the chosen route and through the use of immersive support created by the use of augmented reality in order to captivate the visitor and improve the experience. The production of this educational proposal, that offers visitors the chance to know the Portimão Fire Brigade's house, through a immersive 360º virtual visit to the headquarters of one of the most valued fire departments in the Algarve region and which is approaching one hundred years of existence. The aim is to reinforce the route through visual content of an informative nature, thus expanding the value of this offer and providing the visitor with access to part of past and present history, taking the opportunity to highlight some characteristics and create interaction between the visitor and the virtual space, using augmented reality, captivating the user and improving the virtual experience. The “Quartel Virtual – Uma visita aos Bombeiros de Portimão”, is a complementary version for those who visit the station and as an alternative for those who, for some reason, are unable to visit the space. As a master’s degree project, there is also the objective of analyzing and reflecting on the results achieved, to understand what improvements should be made before future availability to the public.
