Abstract(s)
The present work is the result of an academic research on how the notion of Trace embodied itself as the source of our image creation. The Trace, as a vestige of the absent body, appeals to our imagination, leading us through the conversion process of the signal, the Trace, into an artistic expression through the image. As it coincides with the notion of mark or vestige, it focused our attention and transformed itself into our own creative process from which resulted as substance, taking form as series that we’ve named “Blue”, “Shrouds” and “Sonars”.
