A importância e a problemática do ecossistema empreendedor: o concelho de São Brás de Alportel

Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho aborda a temática do Ecossistema Empreendedor (EE), com especial enfoque no concelho algarvio de São Brás de Alportel, apresentando-se assim este estudo de caso.
Este estudo visa conhecer a realidade empreendedora de um território do interior algarvio, que apesar de neste momento não ser classificado como território de baixa densidade – de acordo com o critério da Comissão Interministerial de Coordenação (CIC) – ainda assim, continua a ser visto desta forma, pelos atores presentes neste ecossistema.
Pretende ainda dar a conhecer as forças e fragilidades do Ecossistema Empreendedor – Capital Financeiro, Cultura, Suporte, Capital Humano, Mercado e Políticas – possibilitando a análise de aspetos a melhorar e das medidas correspondentes a adotar no concelho de São Brás de Alportel.
Salienta-se que cada EE é único, devido às suas diferentes características. Importa matizar que as conclusões deste estudo não poderão ser generalizadas para outras regiões, no entanto, poderão servir como forma de comparação.
Concluiu-se através de uma abordagem qualitativa – com base em entrevistas aos atores do EE (Empreendedores e responsáveis dos Organismos locais) – que o mesmo se encontra em crescimento neste território, que há pontos que merecem uma maior atenção, e neste sentido, os atores manifestam interesse e motivação em colaborar conjuntamente para: aportar sinergias, incutir inovação, apresentar soluções a implementar e consequentemente potenciar melhores práticas para obtenção de um EE favorável ao empreendedorismo em São Brás de Alportel.
The present work addresses the theme of the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem (EE), with special focus on the Algarve municipality of São Brás de Alportel, thus presenting this case study. This study aims to know the entrepreneurial reality of an inland Algarve territory, which, despite not being classified as a low density territory – according to the criteria of the Interministerial Coordination Commission (CIC) – still continues to be seen as such, by the actors present in this ecosystem. It also intends to make known the strengths and weaknesses of the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem - Financial Capital, Culture, Support, Human Capital, Market and Policies - allowing the analysis of aspects to be improved and the corresponding measures to be adopted in the municipality of São Brás de Alportel. It should be noted that each ES is unique, due to its different characteristics. It is important to emphasize that the conclusions of this study cannot be generalized to other regions, however, they can serve as a form of comparison. It was concluded through a qualitative approach - based on interviews with the actors of the EE (Entrepreneurs and representatives of local Organisms) - that the EE is growing in this territory, that there are points that deserve a greater attention, and in this sense, the actors manifest interest and motivation to collaborate together to: contribute synergies, instil innovation, present solutions to be implemented and consequently enhance best practices to obtain an EE favourable to entrepreneurship in São Brás de Alportel.
