Abstract(s)
A temática
contemplam o ajustamento organizacional e o ajustamento equilíbrio vida-trabalho.
As
recursos humanos.
The vacations advantages are undeniable, contributing to an increase in well-being and motivation, but the difficulties of adjusting to work after them? The adjustment to work after vacations theme presents itself as a relatively new area of knowledge, and therefore the challenge of this research was to construct a scale that allows to measure the adjust to work after vacations for the Portuguese population. The proposed scale consists of 19 items and 2 dimensions, which include the organizational adjustment and the work-life balance adjustment. Through a sample of 232 participants, 65.9% of the female gender and 34.1% of the male gender, aged between 20 and 73 years (M = 41.35; SD = 10.45), exploratory and confirmatory factorial analyzes were conducted, and attested the twofactor structure, with good indices of adjustment and internal consistency. The convergent, divergent, and predictive validities of the scale were successfully tested. The work adjustment scale after vacations is therefore an important tool for organizations, which should promote adjustment practices when returning to work, thus contributing to the improvement of human resources management practices.
