tir dessaaplica c~aoecompara c~aodosresultadoscomosinvestimentosaprovados,
espera-sequesepossatirarasconclus~oesnecess ariasaoestudo,equepossaservir
de apoionasdecis~oesquepossamsertomadaspelosempres ariosouempresasque

With thePortugal2020projectover,inthecomingyearsthenewnationalac- tion plan(Portugal2030)willbeimplementedandconsequentlytheregionalaction plan (Algarve2030)too.Thislastprogramthatwillreceiveeuropeanfundsfrom Portugal2030project,has vedevelopoperationalprogrammes,amongwhichpro- grammatic objetive3appears:Algarvemoreconnected. This workinvolvescharacterizingthemunicipalitiesoftheAlgarveregioninrelation to programmaticobjective3,analyzingthefundsapprovedbetweentheyears2016 and 2020ofthePortugal2020.Thisstudyalsoinvolvesidentifyingpossiblebusiness opportunitiesthatmay tinto"amoreconnectedAlgarve",helpingtodevelopthis program objective. Tocarryoutthiswork,publicsourcesofdatawereused,withdatafromthemunic- ipalities andinvestmentsmadeinrecentyears.Amultivariatestatisticalanalysis technique,theHJ-Biplotanalysistechnique,wasused.Fromthisapplicationand comparison oftheresultswiththeapprovedinvestments,itishopedthatanswers to thequestionsaskedwillbeavailable,andthatitcanserveassupportinthe decisions thatmaybetakenbytheentrepreneursorcompaniesthatoperateinthe Algarveregion.
