O autismo é uma perturbação que condiciona o desenvolvimento da criança, colocando algumas limitações à sua educação e integração social e sobre o qual ainda se mantêm grandes dúvidas e divergências no campo científico (Veloso, 2014).
Este estudo apresenta como objetivo conhecer e identificar as estratégias desenvolvidas com uma criança com perturbação do espetro de autismo (PEA) no jardim de infância verificando se a mesma é incluída. Para a elaboração da problemática, foi realizado um enquadramento teórico-conceptual relativamente à educação pré-escolar, educação especial e à perturbação do espetro do autismo. Para dar resposta ao objetivo do estudo desenvolveu-se trabalho de investigação de caráter qualitativo, na forma de estudo de caso (uma criança), com recurso à análise documental, a entrevistas e a observações.
Os principais resultados demonstram que a criança é incluída no jardim de infância, através de estratégias inclusivas realizadas em sala em que há a entreajuda e cooperação entre todos os sujeitos do estudo, fornecendo à criança todas as ferramentas que esta necessita para se desenvolver e crescer de forma segura, incluída e saudável.

This study aims to know and identify the strategies developed with a child with autism spectrum disorder (PEA) in kindergarten, verifying if it is included. For the elaboration of the problem, a theoretical and conceptual framework was carried out regarding pre-school education, special education and the disturbance of the autism spectrum. In order to respond to the objective of the study, a qualitative research work was developed, in the form of a case study (a child), using documentary analysis, interviews and observations. The main results demonstrate that the child is included in the kindergarten, through inclusive strategies carried out in a room where there is mutual help and cooperation between all the study subjects, providing the child with all the tools he needs to develop and grow safe, included and healthy way.
