Abstract(s)
Art as a privileged space of creation, freedom and fruition is
the place, by excellence for the implementation of new codes,
speeches and symbolic languages. Teach and educate by the art,
looking for the globalization of different artistic expression gives place
to the individuals in order to find their own artistic and creative
potentialities, arousing sensibility as well as looking for the sense of

inner beauty in every person and on every dimension of personal and
social life.
The main objective of this investigation was to analyse the
current validity of the intended principles of a leader experience in
Portugal on the area of Education by the Art, either on the personal
formation or on the pedagogical artistic experience of the students in
Education by the Art.
This study was based on conceptual and methodological
studies of several authors, related to the theme of Artistic Education,
such us Dramatic Expression and Theatre. We have analysed the
answers through the chosen sample, as well as the opinions given on
interviews for this current study. We have reached the conclusion that
the formation in Education by Art was a unique experience for this
teaching stuff, which has given them a personal and professional
artistic growth, valid and actual, on their practice. We have also come
to another conclusion which is the manifestation of seeing as a reality
the teachers’ development in Education by the Art.
