Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho intitulado As Artes na Educação: contributo das expressões para o desenvolvimento infanto-juvenil. Da expressão musical no ensino básico, foi elaborado com O intuito de pôr em relevo a importância das artes e das expressões no contexto educativo do ensino básico português e que as mesmas revestem no desenvolvimento da criança./adolescente, designadamente através do exercício livre e espontâneo da sua expressão artística e da sua sensibilidade expressiva e estética.
Partindo de uma abordagem de aspectos salientes do ensino geral da música no sistema educativo do séc. XX à actualidade, foi feita uma exposição detalhada do contributo da Educação Artística e das Expressões em geral e da musical em particular, no campo educacional e do desenvolvimento pessoal.
Seguidamente, através de um estudo específico (que teve por base um inquérito a duzentos e dezassete alunos do ensino básico de Escolas 2, 3 do distrito de Faro) e da exposição dos seus resultados, foram postos em evidência aspectos da realidade da vida escolar, designadamente no que respeita à educação musical, e testado/confirmado um conjunto de oito hipóteses previamente formuladas e com ela relacionadas.
Concluiu-se também que, apesar dos estudos existentes, não tem sido conferida às artes na educação, bem como às expressões em geral e à musical em particular, a importância que merecem no contexto educativo do ensino básico português.
The presente Work called “The Arts in the Education: contribute for the infant-juvenil development. Musical expression at the basics teaching. Was made in order to enphatise the importance of the arts and expressions in the educative enviroment of the basics teaching in Portugal as Well as the importance that this two concepts have in the personal development of the children/teenager, namely by the free exercice and in their artistics expressions and sensibilities. From an approach of the most important issues of the general teaching of Music at the educative system on the XXth century until now, an exposition of the contribute of the Artistic Education and of the general Expressions, and in Music in particular, in the educational field as Well as in personal development were saw and study. Then, and throuhg a specific study (wchich had by basis a query to 217 students from the basics teaching from shools of Faro district) and their results, some aspects were relevant, namely concerning to the school”s life reality, namely the music education tested/confirmed 8 groups of responses previously formulated and related. In conclusion although the several studies made the arts/expressions at the education as Well as music itself still don°t have the importance and the role that they should have in the portuguese basics educative system.
