Abstract(s)
The main objectives of this thesis were the development of more ecological, greener and environmental friendly synthetic strategies for tetrahydropyridazine, pyrazoles and triazoles, as well as the study of their respective chelating activity for Cu(II) and Fe(II). While the synthesis of 1,2,3 – triazoles from amino-esters and azoalkenes was successful and lead to the expected results, for the preparation of the remaining compounds - tetrahydropyridazines and bis(pyrazolyl)methanes, the investigated alternatives did not produced results better than those using conventional methods resorting to halogenated organic solvents. Concerning the chelating activity, the compounds MM2 and MM9 revealed themselves as promising structural core for the development of new heterocyclic compounds of nitrogen and oxygen with chelating activity.
