| dc.description.abstract | Um futuro promissor estaria reservado a Mértola através do projeto de desenvolvimento local traçado por Serrão Martins, 1º presidente da Câmara Municipal do Pós - 25 de Abril, aliado à mestria do trabalho científico desenvolvido, par a par, pelo Professor Cláudio Torres em prol da proteção, valorização e divulgação do património cultural e natural do concelho. Mértola patrimonial nasceu com Serrão Martins e com Cláudio Torres mas cresceu com o trabalho de todos quantos a eles se uniram no mesmo lavor. Esses, arqueólogos, historiadores, geógrafos, técnicos de vários metiers que aqui passaram temporadas ajudando a destapar ou preservar tesouros e outros que iniciaram uma nova etapa de vida e aqui assentaram arraiais e fizeram (fazem!) de Mértola a Vila Museu de Portugal. O «projeto» Mértola começa a definir-se e a evoluir a partir de 1978 com a ação do CAM – Campo Arqueológico de Mértola – dirigido por Cláudio Torres - e deste em conjunto com outras entidades, entre elas a Câmara Municipal, logicamente mas, também a ADPM, a ALSUD, a FSM, citando as mais importantes a nível local. Considerando o nível dos escritos existentes, não nos alongaremos em descrições profundas sobre o projeto «Mértola vila Museu». Apresentaremos, sim, um resumo do trabalho científico do CAM ensaiando uma análise crítica do passado e do presente com vista a perceber o caminho de desenvolvimento futuro. O âmago do nosso estudo assentará na análise dos mecanismos jurídicos que, no quadro legislativo vigente - nacional, comunitário e internacional - permitirão às instituições e aos particulares concretizar projetos que, incidindo sobre o património, visem o desenvolvimento endógeno e sustentável dos locais. Terminaremos refletindo sobre o caminho de futuro, aquele que de forma consistente poderá perpetuar a riqueza e desenvolvimento de Mértola e outras congéneres. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | A promising future would be reserved for Mértola through the local development project outlined by Serrão Martins, 1st mayor of the post-25th of April era, combined with the mastery of scientific work developed by Professor Cláudio Torres aiming the protection, valorization and disclosure of the cultural and natural heritage of the county. Mértola patrimonial was born, therefore, with Serrão Martins and Cláudio Torres, but grew with all who joined them in the same way. These archaeologists, historians, geographers and technicians of various metiers who have spent seasons helping uncovering or preserving treasures and others who settled down and started a new stage of life making «Mértola Vila Museum» of Portugal. The Mértola «project» traced its master line and evolved from 1978, mainly through the action of CAM, Mértola Archaeological Field – directed by Claudio Torres – but also with different entities like the Municipal Council, logically, ADPM, ALSUD, FSM, citing the most important of the local ones. Considering the level of what has already been written, we’ll not dwell on deep descriptions about the project «Mértola vila Museum».We will present a summary of CAM's scientific work, rehearsing a critical analysis of the past and present with a view to understanding the future development path. The core of our study rests in the legal mechanisms’ analysis that, in the current - national, community and international - legislative framework, allow institutions and individuals to materialize projects which, centering on heritage, lead to endogenous and sustainable development of localities. We will end in a way of reflection on the future path, one that can consistently earn and perpetuate wealth in favor of the municipality of Mértola and its people. | pt_PT |
