Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho, foi realizado numa organização que tem como atividades principais
a captação, tratamento, distribuição de água de consumo e recolha e tratamento de águas
residuais, tendo como objetivo analisar em que medida o clima de segurança (físico e
psicológico) e as variáveis individuais de perceção de risco, capital psicológico e
assunção de risco/risk taking estão relacionadas com os outcomes individuais, tais como,
satisfação profissional, ansiedade, perceção de apoio/ suporte organizacional e
comportamentos de segurança em trabalhadores nas situações de trabalho solitário.
O estudo teve incidência não só nos trabalhadores da referida organização, mas também,
nos trabalhadores dos prestadores de serviços, que estão em permanência nas instalações
da organização estudada, a qual tem a abrangência do setor de atividade para toda a região
do Algarve.
A metodologia de recolha, seleção e análise de dados contou com uma amostra de 201
participantes (N), recolhidos por conveniência em suporte papel, através de um
questionário self-report, suportado em 8 escalas validadas cientificamente e composto
por diversos itens sociodemográficos.
Os resultados obtidos mostram a pertinência do objetivo do estudo, provando existir
relação do clima de segurança e de variáveis individuais, na perceção de apoio
organizacional, nos comportamentos de segurança e na satisfação profissional em
trabalhadores solitários, mostrando principalmente o efeito do tipo de isolamento sobre
essas variáveis nas atividades de operação e manutenção, em sistemas de tratamento de
águas de consumo e de águas residuais.
The present work was carried out in an organization that has as main activities the uptake, treatment, distribution of water consumption and wastewater collection and treatment, aiming to analyze the extent to which the safety climate (physical and psychological) and the individual variables of risk perception, psychological capital and risk assumption are related to individual outcomes, such as job satisfaction, anxiety, perception of organizational support and safety behaviors in alone workers. The study had an incidence not only in the workers of the aforementioned organization, but also in the workers of the service providers, who are staying at the premises of the organization studied, which has the scope of the sector of activity for the entire region of the Algarve. The methodology of collection, selection and analysis of data, had a sample of 201 participants (N), collected for convenience in paper support, through a questionnaire selfreport, supported in 8 scales scientifically validated and composed of several sociodemographic items. The results denote the relevance of the study objective, proving that there is a relationship between the safety climate and individual variables, the perception of organizational support, safety behaviors and job satisfaction in lonely workers, mainly showing the effect of the type of isolation on these variables in the activities of operation and maintenance, in water and wastewater treatment systems.
