Abstract(s)
O presente relatório de estágio, elaborado com vista à obtenção do grau de Mestre em
Direção e Gestão Hoteleira, pela Escola Superior de Gestão, Hotelaria e Turismo da
Universidade do Algarve, analisa reflexivamente o estágio desenvolvido no Grupo Kapital,
em Madrid, Espanha.
A metodologia adotada foi revisão de literatura, enquadrando o ócio noturno na
Indústria de Viagens e Turismo. De seguida, caracteriza-se o grupo e as empresas que o
constituem, assim como a sua estrutura organizacional e a estratégia de internacionalização e
de negócio adotadas.
Durante oito meses, a estagiária, desempenhou a função de assistente de direção,
auxiliando nos departamentos de: Recursos Humanos; Financeiro e Logística e Contabilidade.
Tendo ainda a oportunidade de observar o funcionamento do departamento Comercial e de
Marketing. Descrevendo e analisando as atividades realizadas, pôde sugerir melhorias, as
quais, na sua maioria, foram implementadas aquando do desenvolvimento da tarefa.
Através desta experiência a estagiária teve a oportunidade de observar o modelo de
negócio, numa zona de praia e de cidade, para além de ter conseguido realizar uma análise
comparativa, entre Portugal e Espanha, a nível cultural, macroeconómico e fiscal.
No estágio o seu objetivo primário foi alcançado, a estagiária desenvolveu hard e soft
skills, adquiriu experiência on-the-job e ampliou o horizonte em relação às áreas relacionadas
com o mestrado. Outro objetivo de realizar um estágio internacional era aprender com uma
cultura distinta, e as diferenças encontradas originaram o capítulo 5.
As principais conclusões retiradas da análise comparativa foram que Portugal e
Espanha apresentam uma cultura muito similar, a nível macroeconómico Espanha apresenta
melhores resultados, segundo os indicadores estudados, e Portugal apresenta uma carga fiscal,
nomeadamente, dos impostos indiretos, IVA e IABA, superior.
This internship report has been prepared with the aim to obtain a Master's Degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Algarve's School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism, and is a reflection on the work developed at the Kapital Group in Madrid, Spain. The methodology adopted was a literature review, setting the night leisure in the Travel and Tourism Industry. After that, the group and its companies are characterized, as well as their organizational structure and the strategy of internationalization and business adopted. For eight months, the trainee worked as assistant manager, assisting in the departments of: Human Resources; Finance and Logistics and Accounting, still having the chance to observe the operation of the Commercial and Marketing departments. Describing and analyzing the activities carried out, as well as suggesting improvements. Most of them were implemented during the development of the task. Through this experience the trainee had the opportunity to observe the business model, in a beach and city area. In addition to allowing a comparative analysis between Portugal and Spain, at a cultural, macroeconomic and fiscal level. At the stage her major goal was achieved, the trainee developed hard and soft skills, acquired on-the-job experience and extended the horizon in relation to the areas related to the master's degree.
