Abstract(s)
Like other organizations, shopping centers implement integrated management systems in order to better respond to the demands of the external environment, but also in orde r to improve internal processes and maximize resources. Whether to measure the perform ance of management systems or shopping centers as organizations as a whole, there will have to be performance evaluation indicators that assess the results of actions and activities carried out to achieve the proposed objectives Santos, 2005 With the application of Multiple Factor Analysis (Escofier and Pagès, to t he results of the evaluation and performance indi cators of the integrated management systems of six shopping centers, managed by the same management entity, we sought to understand the relationships that these indicators have with the shopping centers, to characterize them and from there extract useful i nformation for management. The results obtained allowed us to perceive the existence of different realities between shopping centers, forming behavioral groups, but also between the management departments to which the performance evaluation indicators are associated. Due to the influence of the performance evaluation indicators, it was possible to develop improve d guidelines for the management of the different groups of shopping centers, adjusted to the different departments.
