A procura de alimentos seguros e de grande qualidade é cada vez mais um dos principais
focos dos clientes. A informação disponível na internet e nas redes sociais faz com que estes
estejam cada vez mais informados e sensibilizados para esta procura, fazendo, por sua vez,
com que a indústria alimentar tenha de se reinventar e melhorar a cada dia.
Assim, a necessidade de uma correta seleção de fornecedores, que sejam capazes de entregar
matérias primas seguras e de boa qualidade, faz com que a aprovação e monitorização de
fornecedores seja uma das mais importantes ferramentas para qualquer empresa.
Durante este relatório será analisada e descrito como deve ser realizado a avaliação e
monitorização de fornecedores e matérias primas, de modo a minimizar problemas futuros.
No final deste relatório demonstrar-se-á o benefício para a gestão da segurança de alimentos,
prevenção de fraudes e adulterações das matérias primas, resultantes da implementação de
um sistema de aprovação e monitorização de fornecedor robusto.
The demand for safe and high quality food is increasing and is one of the main focuses of current customers. The information available on the internet and on social networks, makes them more informed and sensitized to this search, therefore it is necessary for the food industry to reinvent itself and improve every day. For this, the selection of good suppliers, who are able to deliver safe and good quality raw materials, makes supplier approval and monitoring one of the most important tools for any company. During this report, it will be analysed and described how the assessment and monitoring of suppliers and raw materials should be carried out, in order to minimize future problems. At the end of this report, will be demonstrated the benefit for food safety management, fraud prevention and adulteration of raw materials, resulting from the implementation of a robust supplier approval and monitoring system.
