Abstract(s)
A iluminação é um dos elementos fundamentais para o exercício de qualquer atividade profissional, pois uma iluminação adequada permite executar as tarefas com maior facilidade e menos fadiga. A utilização de fontes emissoras de luz apropriadas propícia uma ambiência luminosa adequada, potenciando o conforto visual e preservando as condições de saúde dos trabalhadores.
Neste contexto, o presente estudo teve como principal objetivo avaliar a satisfação profissional e o bem-estar físico e psicológico dos trabalhadores, em função da acessibilidade à luz natural (nível de circunscrição), no decurso do exercício de atividades profissionais em espaços comerciais/lojas, considerando 3 tipologias, nomeadamente, centros comerciais sem acesso direto à luz natural (artificial), comércio local, onde o acesso à luz natural é parcial (mista) e comércio de rua onde o acesso à luz natural é total (natural).
Para o efeito desenvolveu-se um estudo correlacional quasi experimental com 184 participantes, de ambos os sexos, selecionados por conveniência que responderam a um inquérito/instrumento constituído por 6 escalas de operacionalização das variáveis definidas e por itens relativos às características socio biográficas.
