Abstract(s)
Atualmente vive-se em Portugal um período de mudança legislativa, onde se abandonará os
regulamentos nacionais atualmente em vigor (RSA e REBAP), em virtude da introdução de
uma legislação europeia comunitária, os Eurocódigos Estruturais. Estes documentos,
presentemente publicados como normas portuguesas, irão trazer inúmeras mudanças,
sendo relevante para o âmbito da presente dissertação as alterações dos valores de cálculo
das características mecânicas dos materiais aço e betão, assim como a introdução de um
novo método de dimensionamento de estruturas em regiões sísmicas: o dimensionamento
pela capacidade real.
Esta trabalho tem como objetivo o aumento da rapidez e rigor dos cálculos necessários para
cumprir as novas normas. Por isso, desenvolveu-se um conjunto de rotinas informáticas,
que permitem dimensionar automaticamente pilares de betão armado, sujeitos à flexão
simples e composta reta, cujos esforços de cálculo são obtidos a partir da determinação dos
momentos resistentes das vigas que os confrontam.
At this moment, Portugal is going through a period of transformation in its legislation, where the national decree-laws (RSA and REBAP) will be abandoned and replaced with European standards, the Structural Eurocodes. These codes will lead to innumerable relevant changes to the scope of the current dissertation involving modifications to the design values of mechanical characteristics of steel and concrete, as well as the introduction of a new method of design of structures in seismic regions: the capacity design. The objective within this dissertation is to increase the speed and the accuracy of the calculations to follow the new norms. Hence, an ensemble of IT routines has been developed in order to allow to automatically design reinforced concrete columns, who are subject to simple and composed plane bending, whose design efforts are obtained through the determination of the resisting moment of the beams who confront them.
