A linguagem, sendo uma capacidade natural, e não meramente instrumental, é usada na organização do pensamento e integrada no contexto cultural de um indivíduo. Neste trabalho tentámos perceber de que forma a linguagem usada na aula de Matemática interfere na aquisição dos conteúdos programáticos, centrando o nosso estudo no tema: funções.
Language, being not a mere tool but a natural skill, is used to organize thought and to integrate the cultural context ofthe individual. In this work we tried to understand the way the language used in the Maths class interferes with the acquisition ofthe syllabus contents and decided to center our study in the subject: functions.
